A Thanksgiving Service to celebrate Peter's life will be held at The Chapel of St Cross on Thursday 21st November 2019 at 12 Noon.

The family has requested no flowers please. However if you would like to make a donation it will go directly to the Paediatric Diabetes Fund within the Southampton Hospitals Charity (No. 1051543).

The main aim of the fund is for patient and parent education which is done in a fun, non-clinical setting to enable the children to learn to manage their condition and make it less of a burden. For example, peer group sessions are organised getting the children and teenagers together to share what works for them.  The fund also arrange a once-a-year residential trip taking the children away for a weekend to have fun and learn (this is subsidised for children if their parents cannot afford it), and educational fun cooking sessions at places such as Pizza Express to teach Carb counting to insure insulin doses are calculated correctly.
